Bill is a gardener and organic growing enthusiast. In fact, he wrote a business plan for an organic berry farm in 1989. It’s a passion he’s held ever since.
From his 18 years in food sales and his time on the county health and human services board, Bill understands how public policy impacts farmers.
He knows excessive regulation hurts farmers’ livelihood and strongly believes that state government should empower, not restrain, Western Wisconsin’s rural communities.
As a candidate for State Senate, Bill has helped connect the Fifth Season organic food cooperative in Viroqua with resources that will help them expand. As your State Senator, he’ll be an enthusiastic proponent of organic family farms in Western Wisconsin.
